TASTE OF JAPAN

The 2025 Kamome Festival will come to a head with an unforgettable evening filled with great food, drinks, entertainment and the inspiration of hope from the story of Kamome. This event is hosted by the Kamome Foundation and all proceeds will go to support the Kamome Foundation and High School Japan Club's exchange program. The event schedule is as follows:

5:30-6:30     Beer/Sake/Cheese tasting with silent auction and art exhibit. Guests will get to try the Kamome Ale from Seaquake Brewery, Oregon craft sake from Sake One, and the Kamome Dry Jack cheese from Rumiano Cheese Company. 

6:30-7:30     Japanese-inspired small bites with locally sourced ingredients and screening of the Kamome documentary

7:30-8:00     Auction for High School Japan Club

8:00-9:00     Taiko drum performance by Humboldt Taiko followed by a bon dance ceremony led by the Japan Club.
